Samul Nori

Samul Nori

The word Samul Nori refers to a type of Korean traditional music which uses four percussion instruments: small and large gongs, hourglass-shaped drums and drums. These instruments are used in all Korean music, but in particular for performances which, in an agricultural society, were given at celebrations. Samul Nori is also the name of the group led by Kim Duk-soo, whose music, in his own words, comes from his spirit and from his ancestors and brings together every kind of Korean traditional music.
